The minimalist fashion trend is on the rise, and it only makes sense why so many women are hopping on board. Constantly keeping up with fashion trends does not come easy for everyone. Shelling out dollar after dollar to keep up is not realistic, unless you are getting paid to wear the clothes, of course. Not to mention, not all of us have closets the size of an average American home – but we sure can wish!
To tie in with the minimalist trend, I have up-cycled a favorite Mud Pie item of mine, the Covered Button Scarf. This item was introduced to the Mud Pie fashion line in Spring 2014, but I am constantly finding other ways to use it. It comes in all different patterns and is a great staple piece in any wardrobe.
I have shared my two favorite ways to wear the Lattice pattern. Additionally, you can use it as a hair wrap, or as a shawl for a more dressy spring event. Wearing one item multiple ways can always be done with a little creativity!
Winter – Throw it around your neck for a chic, but simple look. I have it paired with out Laura Ruffle Sweater Tunic (Coming Fall 2015).
Summer – Wrap it around your waist and go from beach to bar. It is the perfect accessory to use as a quick cover up. Here I have it paired with a Mud Pie Cover-Up (Similar Style Here).
