I recently attended Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN. And just wow! Mumford & Sons performance was INCREDIBLE. Who else loves them as much as me? While I was running from stage to stage, I was also checking out all the great eats. Camping out with your best friends and enjoying something you love is such a refreshing feeling.
I feel that festivals, music or not, always have the happiest atmosphere’s. Everyone is there to celebrate something they love, and that is a beautiful thing to me.
Being a fashion enthusiast, and a designer, I constantly have an eye out for “the look”. Fashion at music festivals has become such a big hit that it almost has more of a focus than the festival itself. In fact, festivals like Coachella even have lines based off of them.
With so much excitement from Bonnaroo, I only find it fitting to share my Mud Pie festival picks. Something that is fashion forward, but still comfortable to be in all day. Who are we kidding? Fashion forward and comfortable is the perfect outfit for any day.

Happy Transformation Tuesday! Today I am showing you how to multi-purpose Mud Pie Carry-All Cases! I always love pieces that I can wear various ways, and lately I’ve been doing just that with my Chevron Shimmer Carry-All. I literally have it tucked into my purse right now as a cosmetic case, but this handy little bag can be used as WAY more than just that! Some use theirs as tablet sleeves or wet bikini bags, but see my two favorite uses below…
My Chevron Shimmer Carry-All holds all of my cosmetic necessities on the go, and its neutral colors blend in well with all of my handbags. I really can’t live without any of these items in my purse, and I need an easy solution to keeping them organized. That’s where my carry all comes in handy — it houses all of my favorites without making my bag a complete mess!
EO Lavender Hand Sanitizer (Whole Foods) // Tarte Amazonian Clay Pressed Powder // Peter Thomas Roth Sunscreen (the most perfect non-greasy sunscreen, also comes in powder form) // Tarte Matte Lip Tint // L’Occitane Hand Cream // Maybelline Baby Lips Chapstick
I also LOVE to use this carry all as a fun clutch — it really goes with anything from day wear shorts to cocktail dresses, it’s so versatile!

Tell us! How do you use your Mud Pie Carry All?
My husband (eek, so weird!) and I recently returned from nearly two weeks in the Greek Islands where we celebrated our honeymoon. As I packed for the trip, I spent a lot of time shopping online and “Googling” honeymoon essentials. While I purchased a few items by other designers, I found that many of my Mud Pie pieces became go-to staples during our vacay. I transitioned Mud Pie cover-ups to tunics by throwing on white jeans. I wore our shorts to both the beach and daily sightseeing trips. And lets not forget the tote! My Mud Pie tote was an essential item for plane and ferry travel, and of course, acted as a great over-sized beach bag. Check out some pictures below from our amazing trip. I’ve also pulled together my Honeymoon packing list below!

The minimalist fashion trend is on the rise, and it only makes sense why so many women are hopping on board. Constantly keeping up with fashion trends does not come easy for everyone. Shelling out dollar after dollar to keep up is not realistic, unless you are getting paid to wear the clothes, of course. Not to mention, not all of us have closets the size of an average American home – but we sure can wish!
To tie in with the minimalist trend, I have up-cycled a favorite Mud Pie item of mine, the Covered Button Scarf. This item was introduced to the Mud Pie fashion line in Spring 2014, but I am constantly finding other ways to use it. It comes in all different patterns and is a great staple piece in any wardrobe.
I have shared my two favorite ways to wear the Lattice pattern. Additionally, you can use it as a hair wrap, or as a shawl for a more dressy spring event. Wearing one item multiple ways can always be done with a little creativity!
Winter – Throw it around your neck for a chic, but simple look. I have it paired with out Laura Ruffle Sweater Tunic (Coming Fall 2015).
Summer – Wrap it around your waist and go from beach to bar. It is the perfect accessory to use as a quick cover up. Here I have it paired with a Mud Pie Cover-Up (Similar Style Here).
